Anastasia Le-Roy, who goes by the nickname ‘Bella’, was born September 11, 1987 in Manchester, Jamaica. Bella is one of island nation’s most long-serving athletes and has been a part of Jamaica’s successes in the 4x400m event at major global championships.

n 2007, Bella made her first senior team by qualifying for the IAAF World Championships in Osaka, Japan. In 2014 she ran a personal best of 50.84 in the 400m event at the National Senior Trials but was still unable to earn an individual spot on the Jamaica team. She however went on to the Commonwealth Games where she ran a Championship record with her teammates and earned a gold medal. In 2016 she lowered her 200m mark from 23.11 seconds to 22. 85 seconds. Anastasia lowered her personal best at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in Australia to a time of 50.57 seconds on her way to winning a silver medal in the 400m event.
